Introduction

9. Tests

You will be tested as follows:

  • in learning stage 3 of each chapter
  • in a test at the world level to verify whether you have understood the interrelationships between the chapters and assimilated their content
  • in a final test covering all the material in your Cyber*School to verify whether you have understood the worlds and assimilated their content. If you pass this final test you will be issued with a certificate, which will be sent to you by post.

The questions in the test situation are selected at random. There is a time limit for each test which corresponds to the respective number of questions. You are thus working against the clock and should not spend too much time on any individual question. You can also mark questions as pending or skip questions and access them again later via the overview.

In order to end a test before the time limit is up, click on the "end test" button. The program will then calculate your score on the basis of all questions answered and/or marked as pending to give your test result.
When the time limit is up the test will be ended and the score calculated automatically. Your test result will appear on the screen.

Your overall result is shown on the left-hand side. The horizontal bar shows the minimum percentage required to pass the test. A red bar indicates that you unfortunately failed the test. A green bar signalises that you passed the test.
The right-hand side of the screen shows your overall result broken down according to subject area, whereby the display is to be interpreted in the same way as that for the overall result.

By clicking on the "print result" button you open a browser window displaying your test result. You can print out your result using the "print" button on your browser.
